Retailers sell two different pieces as TV stands: low stands under 26 inches, and credenza-height consoles at 26 and up. The stands on this page run 50 to 90 inches wide and 14.56 to 22.22 inches deep. Heights run 16 to 36 inches, with 10 of 50 under 26 inches and 40 at 26 and up, so the middle of that spread describes neither. A television's advertised size is its diagonal, so a 65 inch set measures about 57 inches across and the stand under it should be wider still.
