Measured. Fit.

Will it fit?

The delivery-day check, done before you order. Measure the piece and the tightest stretch of its path into your home. This runs the numbers most shoppers learn on the doorstep: the opening, the turn inside, the stand-it-up swing, the shipping box, and the elevator if the route has one.

The piece

Copy the listed dimensions in any order, because every carrying orientation is tried, including up on end.

Won't fitAs measured, it doesn't make it. The failing check tells you why.

  • Won't fitThrough the opening: Even on the best carry (carried length-first), the 38 × 33″ cross-section is 5″ too big for the 28 × 80″ opening (width is 30″ minus ~2″ for the door on its hinges) in every rotation.

Verdicts marked “tight” deserve a dry run: cut the piece's footprint out of cardboard and walk the path. The turn estimate is deliberately conservative, because movers do achieve things geometry frowns on.
